Graham Thorpe, a revered figure in English cricket, passed away on July 16, 2024, at the age of 55. Renowned for his elegant batting style and unwavering determination, Thorpe left an indelible mark on the sport.

Born in 1969, Thorpe made his Test debut in 1993 and quickly established himself as a cornerstone of the English batting lineup. Known for his impeccable timing, fluid strokes, and ability to adapt to challenging conditions, he amassed 6,744 runs in 100 Tests at an average of 44.66. His 16 centuries and 42 half-centuries stand as a testament to his consistency and prowess.
