French league: Lyon remains winless. Nice reclaims top spot.
French league: Lyon is stuck at the bottom of the Ligue 1 standings after a 1-1 draw with Metz on Sunday.
Lyon’s struggles continued as they were unable to find a way past Metz despite taking the lead early on. Ablie Jallow broke the deadlock for Metz in the 76th minute, but Skelly Alvero leveled the score for Lyon just seven minutes later.
The draw leaves Lyon winless in their first 10 matches of the season, the worst start in their history. They are also the only team in Ligue 1 without a win this season.
Nice, on the other hand, returned to the top of the table with a 2-0 win over Rennes. Jeremie Boga scored the opening goal for Nice in the 45th minute, and Kentin Ghoddad added a second in the 78th minute.
The win moves Nice three points clear of second-placed Paris Saint-Germain, who beat Montpellier 3-0 on Friday.

Monaco also moved closer to PSG with a 2-0 win over Brest. Aleksandr Golovin scored one goal and set up another for Monaco, who are now just one point behind PSG.
