Early Life and Background

Hailing from the modest town of Jalalabad in Punjab, Arjun Babutaโ€™s journey to becoming a national shooting sensation is nothing short of inspiring. Born on 24 January 1999, into a Punjabi Hindu Khatri family, his early life was shaped by the simplicity of village life.

Due to his father’s job with Indian Railways, the family relocated to Chandigarh where Arjun pursued his undergraduate degree from DAV College. While initially unfamiliar with the sport, a spark ignited within him, and he developed a keen interest in shooting. ย

Mentorship and Rise to Prominence

Recognizing his son’s potential, Arjun’s father, Neeraj Babuta, sought guidance from the legendary Indian shooter, Abhinav Bindra, who resides in Chandigarh.
